Colour Your Home is a local painting and decorating business based in Bourton-on-the-Water. The client had a basic website but felt it lacked personality and didn’t reflect the quality of their work. They wanted something more distinctive — a simple but professional online presence that gave potential customers a clear sense of who they are and what they do.
What I Delivered
The project started with a brand refresh. I designed a new logo and colour palette that felt friendly, professional and visually bold — something that would work well on everything from the website to their van and business cards.
Rather than a full website rebuild, I focused on reworking their existing site using the new branding. This included updating the fonts, colours, layout, and imagery to create a cleaner, more trustworthy experience.
The content was kept simple: a homepage with a strong introduction, service descriptions, customer testimonials, and clear calls to action. I also helped the client with their Google Business profile to ensure consistency and better local visibility.
Results
With the updated branding in place, Colour Your Home now has a unified, recognisable look across their website and print materials. The website feels more confident and easier to navigate, and the business now looks as professional online as it does in person.
This project shows how even a small refresh — focused on branding and layout — can make a big difference in how a local trades business is perceived.
